About Event

This was a highly impactful event where over 200 children (over 600 people including family members) benefited from the delivery of large boxes of non-perishable food items. CASA Baez Segura Foundation collaborated with highly reputable local community leaders and pastors who were already at the care of many of the children who attended the event. Thanks to CASA’s initiative, we were able to positively impact a larger number of children to supply their immediate food needs during COVID. Over 40 volunteers helped with the organization to ensure a smooth and orderly day. This was one of our largest events during the beginning of our foundation and the impact continues to be perceived until this day. For many of the children in attendance, it was the first time in their lives they held a paintbrush to create art. It was heartwarming to see how much fun they had bouncing up and down in the giant bouncy castle! They had a blast praising God, singing, dancing, jumping, and playing everywhere! While adults retrieved the boxes of food, the kids played. It was never evident during the event that they were being “helped”. All the kids experience was a fun day where God showed His love for each one of them. Until this day we can still hear and see the laugher and joy coming from these little ones. It was an unforgettable event!
